Transfer Rules

• Regulations prohibit transferring domains that are less than 60 days old. Please wait at least 60 days before transferring.
• Regulations also prohibit transferring domains that will expire within 7 days. Please transfer your domains early to avoid this problem.
• EPP authentication code will be required for all .com, .net, .org, .biz, .ca, .co, info, .me, .mobi, .tv and .us domains. Contact your current registrar to get an EPP code.
• Please make sure the domain is not locked at the current registrar. Many registrars place locks without your knowledge.
• For all .uk domain transfers, update your IPS tag to ENOM before submitting the transfer.
• If your domain expired with your old registrar and you renewed it with them, please do not transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiry date since it will not add 1 more year to your domain name and you will lose out on the renewal fees paid to the older registrar.

Important: Please do not send us your transfer request if your domain does not meet the following criteria:

• Your domain is required to be with the current registrar for at least 60 days. If you have just registered or transferred your domain within the last 60 days, your transfer request will not be accepted.
• Your domain cannot have an expired status. You are no longer the legal owner of your domain once it is expired. If your domain is expired, you must renew it with your registrar before sending us your transfer order.
• Your domain's Administrative Contact information must be valid or updated. You must be the person listed in the admin contact of your domain and the email address listed in the admin contact must be valid and accessible by you.
